Founder & President

JASON MASHBURN

Jason Mashburn is Founder and President of Mash Dynamo, an award-winning political advertising agency and its suite of affiliated companies - Instant Advocacy and Dynamic Franking. Mashburn is a trusted and award-winning Republican consultant who has created winning advertising and voter contact campaigns for hundreds of Republican candidates and committees. Some of the campaigns Mashburn has led voter contact efforts for included U.S. Senator Pat Roberts’ come-from-behind victory in 2014, Karen Handel’s special election victory in 2017, Governor Brian Kemp’s re-election in 2022 and for the official super pac supporting Senator Susan Collins in 2026. Throughout Mashburn’s twenty-year career he has been tapped run Independent Expenditure and Issue Advocacy voter contact campaigns for a number of political organizations, including for Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) and Sentinel Action Fund. Additionally, Mashburn has managed and consulted on over 177 statewide, congressional, and state legislative and campaigns nationwide. Mashburn’s work has scored several awards, including the Pollie Award for Campaign Excellence for Karen Handel’s Special Election and the Pollie Award for best direct mail package for U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune. ​ Prior to founding Mash Dynamo, Mashburn served in leadership roles for several prominent voter contact firms including Creative Direct and The Lukens Company. Mashburn also served on the staff of the Washington office for both a Speaker of the House and a United States Senator. ​ Jason Mashburn is a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Political Science. He Co-Founded and serves on the Board of Directors of Cancer Kicks, a non-profit organization, which raises funds for rare cancer research.

CASSI CAROTHERS

Cassi Carothers serves as Creative Director at Mash Dynamo, bringing more than a decade of experience in marketing, branding, and digital strategy. Over the past 10 plus years, Cassi has worked with high performing corporate brands, consulting, political and entrepreneurial leaders. Her expertise lies in clarifying messaging, shaping strong brand identities, and building digital ecosystems that turn attention into trust and action. In the political arena, Cassi has applied that same strategic foundation to campaigns nationwide, helping candidates develop cohesive messaging, elevate their public presence, and connect authentically with voters. Her background in brand development gives her a distinct advantage in modern political communication, where clarity, credibility, and consistency determine momentum. ​ Cassi leads creative direction with both vision and precision, ensuring every touchpoint from digital presence to campaign materials aligns with strategy and drives measurable impact.

Director of Operations

SHANNON DOUGHERTY

Shannon serves as Director of Operations at Mash Dynamo and has worked at every level of politics. From town board to U.S. Senate races, Shannon has led event operations, crafted messaging, knocked doors, and everything in between. She began her career in the public sector before transitioning to political consulting, where she has supported a wide range of campaigns and advocacy initiatives. Her background includes work with campaigns, Super PACs, independent expenditures, and franking programs. Known for her ability to manage complex operations with precision, Shannon is a trusted partner to senior leadership and excels in high-pressure environments.

Director of Accounts

CALLISTA MENDOZA

Callista Mendoza serves as Director of Accounts at Mash Dynamo, bringing a background in nonprofit and campaign work with experience in grassroots organizing, political operations, communications, and copywriting. She began her political career with the Leadership Institute, where she recruited and trained conservative activists, managed field staff, and worked with hundreds of student organizations across multiple states. Her career has since included work at a political consulting firm managing campaign and nonprofit clients, coordinating candidate operations, and supporting fundraising and events. As a copywriter, she has developed messaging for political organizations, advocacy groups, and nonprofits across digital, fundraising, and public-facing communications. Based in Texas, Callista brings a love for politics, people, and making sure the details behind the scenes actually get done.

Account Manager

JORDAN PUCKETT

Jordan serves as Account Manager at Mash Dynamo and is building her career in politics from the ground up. Before joining the firm, she worked on local campaigns in Savannah and spent time in the hospitality industry, experience that shaped her ability to manage people, logistics, and pressure in equal measure. She has led fundraising events, grassroots organizing efforts, and political data collection and analysis, developing a hands-on foundation in how campaigns actually run. Jordan studied international politics at James Madison University, focusing on world history and international policy concerns and solutions. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Jordan now calls Savannah, Georgia home. Known for her eagerness to learn and her ground-level understanding of campaign work, she brings energy and attention to detail to every project she takes on.

Director of Political Affairs

CHRIS SCHEVE

Chris leads political and public affairs campaigns at Mash Dynamo. He has an extensive background in government, public affairs and political campaigns. He’s built over a career that has spanned the highest levels at the White House, on Capitol Hill and in the private sector. Chris first entered politics in 1992 as a volunteer for Newt Gingrich and has enjoyed volunteering and working with campaigns ever since. Chris has run county level party organizations, worked on local and state wide campaigns and has been involved with several Presidential campaigns. Additionally, Chris has managed state, local, and national level advocacy campaigns. Prior to working in government affairs and advocacy, Chris lead legislative affairs at the White House Council where he developed and implemented strategies for outreach to the Congress on energy priorities. Chris has worked in the private sector for Accenture and on the leadership staff of the House of Representatives. On the Hill, Chris worked for two House Speakers on a range of issues including immigration and trade. Chris is a graduate of Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. A father to two boys, in his free time, Chris is active in the soccer community where he has refereed soccer from the youth to the college and professional levels of the sport. She began her career in the public sector before transitioning to political consulting, where she has supported a wide range of campaigns and advocacy initiatives. Her background includes work with campaigns, Super PACs, independent expenditures, and franking programs. Known for her ability to manage complex operations with precision, Shannon is a trusted partner to senior leadership and excels in high-pressure environments.

Senior Advisor

NAT WIENECKE

Nat Wienecke serves as Senior Advisor to Mash Dynamo, Inc. An expert in advocacy, enterprise risk management, crisis response, and how data and technology can drive strategy and results, Nat Wienecke is President of Conscience Point Consulting. He advises and represents a diverse set of clients in the financial services, national security, housing, and political arenas. He engages Congress and the executive branch on behalf of his clients helping them to navigate Washington, DC and in state capitols. Nat has been named one of The Hill’s top lobbyists for many years running and has also been named Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics. Wienecke, who sits on corporate boards and is an advisor to private equity firms, also has worked for the Property Casualty Insurance Association of America, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and served for 15 years on Capitol Hill and in the executive branch. He was the youngest assistant secretary of Commerce during the Bush Administration and a senior advisor to Secretary Carlos Gutierrez on issues including international trade, immigration, economic development, and the response to the 2008 financial crisis. A veteran of numerous political campaigns, Wienecke has extensive experience at the grassroots. He worked on both the election and reelection efforts of President George W. Bush,including managing county-level recount efforts in Florida in 2000. Having worked on many congressional campaigns, including for former House Speaker Paul Ryan, Wienecke has significant experience in coalition building and get out the vote efforts.
